Fundrasing Ideas:
Need to raise money, but not much time to do it? Don't worry. T.S. Outfitters has helped many people in your situation. Many of our products are perfect for fast, easy fundraisers. We have low minimums for smaller groups and as you order more, the prices per piece will decrease. You will purchase the items from us. Then you mark up the item accordingly. The difference is your profit!
Before you get started, you can use our fundraising calculator to determine how much profit you will make based on the number of products you plan to order.

Fundraising Tips:
|
 |
 |
Plan:
- Set a financial goal. Give each order taker a minimum number to sell.
- Give each order taker an order form.
- Determine the time frame of your fundraiser
- Consider days off for holidays.
- Do you need your profit for an event? If so, when is it?
- Set a due date to collect order forms from your sales team.
- Remember to order from T.S. Outfitters in time to meet any deadline.
- Choose a product, colors, and design.
- Motivate your sales team.
- Remember, every sale brings the group closer to their financial goal.
Advertise:
- Order a generic sample. Display the sample for sizing purposes.
- Advertise in the school newspaper, PTA, booster, and alumni newsletters. Include a picture of the product, if possible.
- Hang posters, make announcements, and pass out flyers through the duration of the fundraiser.
- Remind your customers about their deadlines. For example "On sale now…" or "Last day to order is…."
- In all promotions, be sure to show the product, price, sale dates, and location to place an order.
- You may want to include parents as a potential customer. Send a letter to the parents of the students that describes your project. Parents may order something as a gift to their son or daughter.
- Don't forget Middle Schools affiliated with your high school.
Sell:
- Give order forms to your sales team
- Have each order taker put their name, phone number, organization name, & homeroom number on his or her order form.
- Have the order taker collect money as the order is taken. Make checks payable to your organization (T.S. Outfitters will accept one
check for the entire order.)
- Set up tables during lunch and in high traffic areas. This will give your project full exposure.
- Have one person monitor sales during the fundraiser. Keep your project under control.
- Collect all order forms and money.
- Look over the order forms; make sure you have received the right amount of money.
- Get your total number of items and call T.S. Outfitters with your order. Have a purchase order number ready.
Distribute:
- When the products arrive, have a meeting with your sales team. Give each individual his or her order form back and let each order taker distribute the items he or she sold.
- Include a short thank you note with the product when you distribute it to your customer.
